Bayern Munich are very interested in signing Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, talkSPORT understands.
The 20-year-old has impressed since joining the Eagles at the beginning of February from Championship side Blackburn Rovers.
Wharton, who has assisted three goals in 16 appearances so far, is currently on a five-and-a-half-year contract at Selhurst Park.
However, Palace could be tempted to sell the midfielder for a huge profit, who they signed earlier this year in a deal worth £22.5m.
talkSPORT reported earlier this month what the Eagles would look like consider a 'great deal' for the young man.
If a deal is closed, it could become Vincent Kompany first signature in Bavarian after he was announced as his new head coach.
Wharton may not be the only notable departure this summer from Palace, which has so far thrived under Oliver Glasner.
