Virgil van Dijk appears to completely ignore Joshua Zirkzee ahead of Netherlands' game against Bosnia
Virgil van Dijk appeared to snub Dutch international team-mate Joshua Zirkzee in the tunnel despite high-fiving several of his team-mates.
From Dijk captained the Dutch to a 5-2 win over Bosnia on Saturday as they began their League of Nations campaign brilliantly.
But it was a moment before the match that has now generated intrigue, with footage showing Van Dijk completely ignoring team-mate Zirkzee.

However, Zirkzee, who was behind Ake in the tunnel, looked ahead as Van Dijk made his way to hug Jerdy Schouten, who was behind him.
Van Dijk then handed out some greetings to the mascots.
Some will suggest that Van Dijk and Zirkzee's respective club loyalties were the main reason the two failed to recognise each other before the match.

Although Van Dijk's dismissive gesture towards Zirkzee before the match may have suggested there was tension between the pair, it was not long before it dissipated.
Zirkzee opened the scoring for the Dutch against Bosnia in the 13th minute when he headed home after Xavi Simons' shot had deflected badly and bounced kindly back.
Van Dijk went over to celebrate with Zirkzee and gave him a hug, showing that the two are evidently on good terms despite their rivalry at club level.

Ronald Koeman's team took the lead again in first-half added time through Tijjani Reijnders. Cody Gakpo added a third in the 56th minute.
Former Manchester City star Edin Dzeko Bosnia pulled one back in the 73rd minute after an error by Manchester United centre-back Matthijs de Ligt.
But late goals from What is Weghorst? and Simons assured that there would be no surprises for the 75th-ranked team in the world.
