Vitor Roque update: Barcelona in talks with Al-Hilal over potential move

It's been a rollercoaster ride for Vitor Roque since he arrived Barcelona this January, first presented as their number nine of the future, and now potentially on his way out of the club after just 353 minutes of action.

His exit appears to be a very real possibility this summer, with the Blaugrana making little attempt to hide their openness to selling the 19-year-old. Arrived for 30 million euros, Matteo Moretto explained that they are unlikely to sell him for less than what they bought him for – it is assumed that he did not meet any of the 31 million euros in variables included in his move from Athletico Paranaense.

Barcelona are currently in talks with Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal over a deal for Roque, and the Blaugrana are open to a deal. However until Roque gives the green light for a move to the Middle East, which is yet to happen, its future remains uncertain.

This summer Barcelona have set their sights on Nico Williams and Dani Olmo, but Roque may hold the key to all their deals. Despite the optimism of the president Joan Laporta about his economic situation, most of the reports about his situation continue to state that he must make sales to make him sign. Roque seems the most likely at the time of writing.
