Supporters can now vote for your Aston Villa Player of the Month for September.
The month kicked off with a dramatic 3-2 victory over Everton as Villa came from two goals down to claim the spoils thanks to Ollie Watkins’ brace and Jhon Durán’s stunning long-range winner.
Unai Emery’s side then started their UEFA Champions League campaign with a superb 3-0 success at BSC Young Boys, Youri Tielemans opening the scoring before Jacob Ramsey added a second and Amadou Onana put the seal on a memorable triumph in Bern.
Villa returned to domestic matters and again showed their battling spirit to come from behind and claim local bragging rights courtesy of a 3-1 triumph over midlands neighbours Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Watkins levelled matters for the Villans before Ezri Konsa converted from close range in the 88th minute and Durán put the seal on victory in injury time.
Emi Buendía and Durán, with his third goal of the month, were on target as Villa reached Round 4 of the Carabao Cup courtesy of a 2-1 win at Wycombe Wanderers.
And September was subsequently wrapped up with a 2-2 Premier League draw at Ipswich Town, Morgan Rogers and Watkins, who registered his fourth goal and second assist of the month, finding the net at Portman Road.
