Athletic Club icon Iker Muniain It seems he has finally found his next club, more than two months after leaving the Basque giants. He plays in Argentina, although it is not where many think.
Muniain is a fan of River Plate, and it seemed like a real possibility at one point, but shortly after the arrival of Marcelo Gallardo as manager, he was ruled out. However Muniain has now arrived in Buenos Aires, with Relief reporting that he will join San Lorenzo.
He was greeted by a crowd of journalists after his arrival in Ezeiza, and said he was happy to be back in the Argentine capital.
“Let's see if it can happen. I'm very happy to be back here. I'm looking forward to it.”

Muniain joined Athletic Club at the age of only 11, he spent two decades in Bilbao, and made his debut at only 16 in San Mames. Now a veteran, he seems to be close to another historic stage in El Gasometro. While he is believed to have offers from elsewhere, Muniain is attracted by the passion for football in Argentina.
