Real Madrid and the midfielder of Turkey Arda Guler has been in impressive form at Euro 2024, neting one of the goals of the tournament in the group stages. He was again instrumental in Turkey's progress against Austria, knocking in two beautiful curls for Merih Demiral to head home.
Guler, along with Austria's Marcel Sabitzer, saw objects rain down from the stands as he took the corners. After Demiral scored, he turned to the same fans who were lobbing objects and cupped his ear to the crowd.

The 19-year-old shows no lack of bravery or willingness to back down in the face of a challenge, and it's not the first time his spikey character has been on display.

During Turkey's 2-1 win over the Czech Republic in their final group game, Guler almost incited a brawl, laughing at the Czech players after the final whistle, who had just been kicked out. He ended up picking up a yellow card for his troubles.
