Ollie Watkins has earned the Premier League’s 2023/24 Playmaker of the Season award.
The Aston Villa striker completed the league campaign with an impressive 13 assists, two clear of Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and three ahead of a host of players including last year’s winner Kevin De Bruyne.
Leon Bailey was the leading beneficiary for Villa, scoring four goals, while Moussa Diaby netted three courtesy of Watkins assists.
Along with his 19 Premier League goals, it caps a memorable season for the England international.
Earlier this week, Watkins claimed a double at the club’s End of Season Awards Dinner as he was honoured with Players’ Player of the Season and Supporters’ Player of the Season.
