West Ham are leading the race to sign Arsenal midfielder Reiss Nelson, talkSPORT understands.
Nelson, who is valued at £25million, wants to leave Arsenal this summer after becoming frustrated with a lack of playing time.
Crystal Palace are also interested in the former England Under-21 international.
The 24-year-old has struggled to get regular minutes for Mikel Arteta's side but is under contract until 2027.
Nelson emerged from the Arsenal academy and made his first-team debut in 2017.
He signed a new four-year contract ahead of the start of the 2023/24 season, with Arteta highlighting how “important” Nelson was to the team and his “quality”.
However, he only started once in the Premier League last season, making 24 appearances in all competitions in total.
Nelson scored one goal (in the 1-0 League Cup win over Brentford) and provided three assists during the season.
