David Moyes' future as West Ham manager is in doubt, talkSPORT understands.

Moyes was close to agreeing a new two and a half year contract in December following their historic victory in the Europa Conference League last season.

However, owner David Sullivan is now less sure of keeping the Scottish chief beyond the end of the season.

The east Londoners are currently on a seven-game winless streak in all competitions and on Sunday 6-0 win against Arsenal their biggest home defeat in the Premier League.

Sullivan is also said to be concerned about increasing negativity towards Moyes from Hammers fans.

That said, it is understood that Moyes will be given time to turn around West Ham's fortunes.

The club's next four games will go a long way to deciding their fate, as they will all face teams in the bottom seven of the Premier League table.

Includes matches against Nottingham Forest, Brentford, Everton and Burnley.

Moyes also has credit in the bank with Sullivan after last season's European heroics, with the Europa Conference League success being the first major trophy the club has won since 1980.

The 60-year-old is currently in his second spell as West Ham manager, having previously managed the club from 2017 to 2018, before rejoining in 2019.

In that time, Moyes has led West Ham to a Premier League points record of 65, as well as finishing sixth and seventh along the way.
