And since the creation of the Premier League, we have seen some very early goals.
It may seem incredible, but all the goals in the top ten were scored in less than 14 seconds from the kick-off.
And these players will be forever recorded in the history of the top category…

10. James Beattie (Chelsea vs Southampton, 2004/05) – 13.52 seconds
Most of the goals on this list come from some type of defensive error.
However, James Beattie's goal for Southampton at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea It was an absolute scream.
Immediately after the game started, the ball fell to the Englishman 25 meters away.
He watched him stand up and sent a stunning half-volley past Petr Cech.

It is difficult to imagine how anyone will be able to surpass this record.
Watford started the game and hardworking forward Long charged at Craig Cathcart's attempted clearance.
He ran in, shook Cathcart and then delicately took the ball from Ben Foster to write his name in Premier League history.
The mistake that led to the goal was poor, but the shot was excellent. Andre Gray saved Watford with the equalizer in the 90th minute.
