Manchester City hope to rekindle their title fight when they host Brentford just days after drawing with Chelsea.

The Citizens are four points away Liverpool in it top of the league after drawing 1-1 with the Blues but still have a game less.

Why is Manchester City playing on Tuesday?

The city will face Brentford at home on Tuesday, just three days after welcoming Chelsea to the Etihad.

The reason City have two games on Matchday 25 is because of their Club World Cup campaign in December.

The Citizens were due to face Brentford on December 23, but that was postponed due to their involvement in the latter stages of the Club World Cup, which they won.

This clash will not be broadcast live on television due to the original match being scheduled for the blackout on Saturday at 3pm.

Premier League broadcast rules dictate that if a game not chosen for television coverage is postponed, then the rescheduled match cannot be broadcast on television, even if it has been rescheduled to a more convenient time.

While the match may not be available to watch, talkSPORT will be covering it with EXCLUSIVE live radio commentary.

Coverage will be presented by Adrian Durham, while commentary will be provided by Sam Matterface and former Manchester City manager Stuart Pearce.

This comes just weeks after City and Brentford's last game which ended in a 3-1 win for Guardiola's men.

Phil Foden scored a hat-trick in west London to seal three points for the Premier League champions, so the Bees will fear the worst.
