This is because the match has not been selected for broadcast despite being played at 2:00 pm on a Sunday.
The match will not be broadcast as it was originally scheduled for 3pm on Saturday and so, even though the date has been changed, it will still not be broadcast live.
Last month, it was announced that the match would be moved to Sunday, but the date was changed due to Chelsea's European fixture.
Wolves provided an update on their website which read: “There has also been a change to Wolves’ opening home game against Chelsea at Molineux which will now be played at 2pm on Sunday 25 August due to the Blues’ involvement in European football on the previous Thursday evening.”
Chelsea will play against Swiss side Servette in their European Conference League The playoff clash at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night, Live on talkSPORT.
And since they play on Thursday, it means they cannot participate in a match on Saturday to allow the players adequate rest.
The Blues also have their second round of playoffs the following Thursday so the only possible date for the game against the Wolves was Sunday.
