Pep Guardiola has revealed that Erling Haaland could miss Manchester City's clash with Brentford this weekend.
Haaland lost one of his closest family friends on Wednesday as He paid tribute to Ivar Eggja who died at the age of 59.
Eggja was close to his father, Alf-Inge, and played a key role in Haaland's incredible football career so far.
There have been some doubts about whether the striker will be fit to play, and he would be granted compassionate leave if he wanted to take it.

Will Haaland play for Manchester City against Brentford?
Haaland participated in City of man training on Thursday but it remains a big doubt for him to participate The match will start on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. tomorrow.
Guardiola has been unable to confirm whether his talisman will be fit to play after a difficult few days.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, the City manager said: “It's a difficult time for him and his family. Sad news.
“Our thoughts are with him and his family.”
He then admitted: “We'll see tomorrow if he is mentally and physically ready to play.”
Haaland's chances of featuring will therefore depend on how he feels on the morning of the game at the Etihad.
And he may not be fully ready to play yet after his sad loss.
The 24-year-old paid tribute to Eggja, who was best man at his father's wedding, on social media on Wednesday.
Taking to InstagramHe said, “You are a legend, Ivar.
“Words can't describe how much you meant to me! Words can't describe how much we will miss you!
“I don't give a shit. I don't give a shit! That's exactly what I'm gonna do.
“Thanks for everything, madman. We'll see each other again. Rest in peace, Ivar.”
There is no doubt that Haaland will now dedicate his football to Eggja, aiming to continue his success to make him even prouder.
But it is still unknown whether he will be fit for this weekend's match.
