Marcus Rashford is winning his battle to be fit for Manchester United's Premier League trip to Bournemouth this weekend.

England star limped out of last Sunday's 2-2 draw against arch-rival Liverpool to add to the club's already huge injury list.

United are 11 points behind fourth-placed Tottenham and any hope of securing the Champions League is quickly fading.

“Scott, I don't think so,” United manager Ten Hag said during his pre-match press conference.

“We have a training session so we have a day where he will push, he really wants to be part of that tomorrow so it is very questionable.

“Rashy trained yesterday, so how he recovered today, we have another training today and then we will take a decision on it.”

Rashford's improved fitness comes just after the striker won the Premier League Goal of the Month award for March.

The England international's long-range goal in the 3-1 defeat to Manchester City last month saw him claim the award for the first time.

Although it is the first for Rashford in his career, he becomes United's eighth different player and the fourth this season alone.
