‘World’s sexiest footballer’ Alisha Lehmann reveals the one thing that annoys her about football after joining her boyfriend Douglas Luiz at Juventus
Alisha Lehmann has revealed her frustration with the ‘unfair’ pay gap between male and female footballers.
Lehmann is one of the most popular female footballers on the planet and boasts a following of 17 million on her Instagram.
She is also in a relationship with Brazilian international Douglas Luiz, making them one of football’s biggest power couples.
The pair also signed for Juventus from Aston Villa this summer, a move which Lehmann described to German publication Bild as ‘a dream’.
However, the two moved for vastly different fees.

Lehmann and Luiz became been an item earlier this year after they split up in November 2022
Luiz, a vital part of Villa’s midfield last season, joined for £42m on a five-year deal while Lehmann joined for just £42k, according to Italian outlet La Repubblica.
The financial discrepancies is something Lehmann has vented about to her partner.
‘After training, I often say to Douglas that it’s unfair,’ Lehmann told La Repubblica.
‘We do the same work, but he earns a hundred thousand times more than I do.’
Unfortunately for Lehmann, and the wider women’s game, she believes it will be some time before both genders enjoy equal pay.
‘This is something that affects me because I am a woman,’ Lehmann said.
Lehmann and Luiz first became an item in 2021 but split in November 2022, before rekindling their romance earlier this year.
Since moving to Juventus, Lehmann has one goal from two games while Luiz has been reduced to just three substitute appearances.

Luiz has had a slow start to life at Juventus after he moved from English side Aston Villa
Juventus’s men’s side remain unbeaten to start the Serie A season, as do the women’s team who have won both of their matches.
Luiz will also come up against his former employers after Juventus were drawn to face Aston Villa in the new-look Champions League.
Juventus travel to Villa Park on November 27.
