Xavi Simons has hinted at an upcoming transfer with a cryptic social media post.
The PSG midfielder has spent the last season on loan at RB Leipzig and wishes to play away from Paris again this season with fears of limited playing time.
The Saxons are keen to loan the Dutch international again but they’re currently fighting alongside Bayern Munich.
Simons posted a reserve card on his Instagram story. The playing card is used in “Uno” to change the direction of the game. In football, the card is often a symbol of upcoming transfers.
Leipzig fans will be hoping that the reserve symbol is an indication that the player is heading back to the red bulls for the new season.
However, as reported by GGFN, Bayern Munich have reportedly agreed personal terms with Simons.
Additionally, French media reports that Bayern will include a €90m option-to-but clause for Simons as part of their loan deal.
Last season, in 43 appearances for Die Roten Bullen, Simons scored ten goals and registered 15 assists, equating to a goal contribution every 139 minutes.
