The latest Stick to Football podcast descended into humorous chaos following a crude joke from Roy Keane.
Episode 58 of The popular Overlap program I saw Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Jill ScottKeane and Ian Wright return to the table.
Scott played in a Sellebrity Soccer charity match on Sunday and his team faced a Danny Dyer team that included a former Premier League star.
“I was playing the charity match at the weekend and Marlon Harewood completely destroyed us,” the former Lioness explained.
“Yeah, he was a great old man, old Marlon.” Wright responded to his co-expert Keane He rudely joked: “And how was the match?”
The Manchester United legend said it with a cheeky smile and it caused the other four members of the panel to burst into laughter.
Neville and Scholes in particular they had their hands on their arms on the table, apparently in disbelief at their former teammate's comment.
“Roy, you can't say that!” Wright responded while still laughing. “That has to be (cut from the edit)…”
Keane, still smiling, defended himself against his comment when he said: “Oh no, how was the game?”
Scott took it like a champ and told the producers to keep him on the show, as Scholes stated, “That's a step too far.”
“What was the score in the game?” Keane asked as the panel's laughter began to die down, but it didn't stop there.
“It's such a powerful image!” Wright shouted, causing Neville to spit the water onto the table and reignite the laughter.
Wright then claimed he couldn't “stop watching”, before Scott joked to the camera: “I think this is our last show, thanks for tuning in.”
When the hysteria finally died down, Keane again asked what the result was at the charity match at West Ham's London stadium.
Dyer's team won 5-4 against Scott's team, with Harewood scoring two goals on his way to victory.
