As reported by Patrick Berger, Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko has agreed to join Olympique Marseille.
Since breaking into the first team at the Westfalenstadion, Moukoko has always faced difficulty establishing himself as a regular for BvB. This has led to suggestions that the talented youngster should look to develop his career away from Dortmund.
However, in recent weeks, these suggestions have appeared to become more of a reality, with the striker’s agent attempting to force a move away from the club.
Now, it is understood that Marseille are keen to offer Moukoko the chance to prove his worth on a regular basis. The Ligue 1 outfit have agreed personal terms with the 19-year-old regarding a one-year loan deal.
It is believed that Moukoko is keen on the move, with Dortmund and Marseille looking to negotiate an appropriate loan fee and possible bonus payments.
As well as this, the French club are hopeful of securing a purchase option in the deal that could be triggered at the end of the season.
