The Aston Villa midfielder was a 74th-minute substitute in the narrow reverse in Frankfurt, which was settled by Ivan Schranz’s early opener.
Belgium saw two goals disallowed following VAR reviews as they fell to defeat in their Group E opener at Euro 2024.
Tielemans, who earned his 68th cap for his country, will be looking to bounce back when Belgium face Romania on Saturday (ko 8pm) in Cologne.
