Sevilla look as if they are going back to the drawing board in terms of their managerial position next season. It's been another turbulent season at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, and Quique Sanchez Flores will be moving on.

Jagoba Arrasate d'Osasuna was the first choice for Sporting Director Victor Orta, and they tried to do it hack the signature of RCD Mallorca of the Basque coach for the next season. In any case, with guaranteed survival in Mallorca, Arrasate keeps his word, and will take over the island next season.

Others such as Maurizio Sarri and Ivan Juric have been linked to the Seville work, but Matteo Moretto revealed that neither are currently in Sevilla's thinking for the position. One manager who is in the running for the job is former Espanyol, Granada and Olympiakos boss Diego Martinez. The 43-year-old previously coached Sevilla Atletico and was assistant to Unai Emery during his time at the club. He has been linked to the job before as well, and is one of the names being considered.

Sevilla will be desperate to get the right managerial choice, after two seasons that have seen five managers walk through the doors, and Orta is in charge of another summer of high turnover at the squad. Next year is the first season that Sevilla will be without European competition in a decade, and that will take its toll on their finances as well.
