A Liverpool youth player appeared to punch a Manchester United star in the face during a chaotic clash between the club's under-18 teams.

In the match at Carrington Training Ground on Tuesday, United claimed a 4-3 victory in acrimonious circumstances.

With the Red Devils in possession, Wheatley thwarts Furnell-Gill's attempts to stop an attack, but a collision between the pair resulted in the Liverpool star punching him before continuing his run.
