Academy quartet win Tri-Nations Trophy with England



A quartet of Aston Villa Academy players have won the Tri-Nations Trophy with England Under-18s.

Triston Rowe, Kadan Young, Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba and Sam Proctor were part of the Young Lions’ squad for the inaugural edition of the competition. 

England took on Morocco and Northern Ireland, who featured fellow Villans Calum Moreland and Cole Brannigan, at St. George’s Park.

Young scored in the opening match against Northern Ireland as the hosts earned a 4-2 victory before they saw off Morocco 2-1 to secure the trophy.
