Bayern Munich are preparing to enter into negotiations over a new contract with Alphonso Davies amid interest from Real Madrid.

Talks over a contract extension between Davies and Bayern have been ongoing, particularly after the Canadian attracted interest from Real Madrid earlier this year. His current contract expires in June 2025, and the club has made it clear that if he does not agree to an extension, he will be put up for sale in the upcoming summer transfer window.

However, new Bayern coach Vincent Kompany is a big admirer of Davies and is eager to retain him beyond 2025. According to tZ, sporting director Max Eberl has started negotiations for a new deal with the full-back.
The reported offer includes a salary of around €13m (£11m/$14m) with €4m (£3m/$4) in bonuses. While Real Madrid are yet to submit a formal offer for the 23-year-old, Bayern Munich have reportedly set the asking price at €50m (£43m/$54m).
