Everton are pushing to complete a deal to sign Armando Broja this summer.

talkSPORT correspondent Ben Jacobs understands the Toffees are in talks over a £30m deal for the Chelsea forward as they look to reinforce their attacking options.

Chelsea are understood to be holding out for a deal worth close to £35m.

Sean Dyche's side will be hoping to make a quick breakthrough as they look to kick-start their summer transfer plans.

this comes later Long-time Everton fans AJ Bell and George Downing submitted bid hundreds of millions to take control of their kids club.

The Toffees face competition from other clubs including AC Milan, Monaco, Wolves, Crystal Palace and Bologna.

A product of Chelsea's youth academy, Broja has risen through the ranks after joining the club at the age of eight.

After a season on loan at Vitesse Arnhem, the Albanian striker scored nine goals during a loan campaign at Southampton, before returning to Stamford Bridge to fight for a place in the first team.

However, the 22-year-old has only scored three goals in 38 appearances for Chelsea, with injuries disrupting his hopes of establishing himself.

Broja was loaned to London rivals Fulham in the January transfer market, but only made eight appearances for the club, all of them coming off the bench.

Eager to further his career, the striker could be given the chance to prove himself and Chelsea are willing to offload him at the right price.

While Everton are interested in sealing a quick deal, Broja will be keen to ensure his focus remains on Albania's Euro 2024 campaign.

Broja has been called up to the squad that will compete in the death group competition as they challenge Italy, Croatia and Spain for a place in the next round.
