Juventus are confident of signing Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa this summer, talkSPORT understands.

He european giants are ready to offer a more cash player deal, involving Weston McKennie and Samuel Iling-Junior, for the Brazilian.

Thiago Motta will be presented as the new Juventus coach and one of his first moves could be to bring in Luiz.

The 26-year-old joined Villa from Manchester City after spending two seasons on loan at Girona, having previously been denied a work permit.

However, Villa are considering selling Luiz this summer due to concerns over meeting profitability and sustainability standards.
