Chelsea appear to be closing in on the signing of teenager Barelona Marc Guiu. The Blues are said to be in advanced talks with the 18-year-old's agent, and are willing to pay his €6 million release clause.
Guiu's contract is up next summer, and Barcelona had submitted an offer to him, but they have yet to hear. According to Sport, Guiu knew that Barcelona could not match Chelsea's offer, but he expected the difference between the two to be smaller. He has doubts over his playing time, with Robert Lewandowski, Ferran Torres and Vitor Roque ahead of him in the pecking order, even if he leaves on loan.
Al Hilal have contacted Barca and Raphinha's entourage to express their strong interest in signing the Brazilian winger. @ffpolo, @RogerTorello

Barcelona could not give guarantees as the new manager Hansi Flick has not yet seen closely, and therefore, Guiu commented to his teammates that he was trying to pass. MD say that RB Leipzig is also pursuing Guiu, but they are behind Chelsea in the race. Guiu will now have a final meeting with his family to make a decision on his future – perhaps the only doubt is to leave the club that he dreams of success.
Guiu has impressed in his fleeting cameos for the first team, and the Blaugrana will not lose one of the few strikers that La Masia produces. Although it is also true that having signed Vitor Roque, in theory Barcelona has its number nine for most of the next decade. However, doubts are also present.
