Aston Villa Women are pleased to announce captain Rachel Corsie has signed a contract extension with the club.
The defender, who joined the club in 2022, is now contracted until June 2025.
Rachel has made 54 appearances since making the move from Kansas City Current in the NWSL.
The Scotland captain has also scored twice in claret & blue, including the opener in our memorable FA Cup quarter-final victory over Manchester City last year.
Manager Carla Ward said: “Rachel is someone I’d previously worked with before her arrival at Aston Villa, and she has become a prominent figure within the playing squad ever since she joined us a couple of seasons ago.
“Her experience and leadership has played a hugely important part in our success in recent years and that will remain invaluable in 2024/25.”
