Alaves have already lost several key players in recent weeks. Rafa Marin and Samu Omorodion have returned from their loans at Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid respectively, while Luis Rioja is close to joining Valencia. They could be about to lose another important midfielder: Antonio Blanco.

According to reports in Italy, as covered by MD, Fiorentina are “mutually interested” in Blanco, who joined Alaves on a permanent basis from Real Madrid last summer. A request has already been received from the side of Vitoria.

MD's report states that Alaves do not want to lose Blanco, and therefore, they have set a minimum asking price of 15 million euros. Fiorentina are currently unwilling to reach this figure, which makes a deal unlikely.

Real Madrid would certainly be welcome Alaves sell Blanco, given that they have a 50% sell-on clause from the agreement last summer. If 15 million euros have to be paid, which seems unlikely, then Los Blancos have to be paid 7.5 million euros.
