Edin Terzic has confirmed that he will rotate his Borussia Dortmund squad against Augsburg with Tuesday’s Champions League game against Paris Saint-Germain in mind.

Dortmund’s 1-0 win against PSG on Wednesday rewards the Bundesliga with a fifth team in next season’s Champions League and with BVB sitting fifth, 12 points ahead of Eintracht Frankfurt with three games remaining, it means Die Schwarzgelben will be playing in next season’s competition.

90 minutes away from reaching their first Champions League final since 2013, changes were to be expected by Dortmund, which has since been confirmed by Terzic.

“Of course we’re thinking about how we can bring energy and freshness into the team tomorrow. We will rorate, which is what we did against Atletico. The last game was only two days ago today and was extremely physical and emotionally demanding,” said Terzic in Friday’s press conference.

What those changes are remains to be seen. Niclas Füllkrug and Jadon Sancho are likely to get a rest, Sébastien Haller is unavailable while Salih Özcan, Donyell Malen and Niklas Süle didn’t feature against PSG, so the trio could start against Augsburg.
